RICSIC AI, a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Noor Ahmad, operates ricsic.live and the RICSIC AI persona service. RICSIC AI is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice.

What we collect and why

• Account data (name, email, login identifiers, and Google account details if you sign in with Google) — to create and secure your account. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• Profile and knowledge content (bio, title, location, resume and uploaded documents, services, prices, custom Q&A) — to build and run your AI persona and, where you make your profile public, to display it. Legal basis: contract.
• Conversation data (messages exchanged with an AI persona, and the visitor name/email a visitor chooses to provide) — to deliver the chat, show the profile owner their conversations and leads, and improve answer quality. Legal basis: contract and legitimate interests.
• Booking data (requested times, contact email, notes) where the booking feature is enabled — to schedule and confirm meetings. Legal basis: contract.
• Support and reports (issue reports, emails you send us) — to respond and fix problems. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Technical and usage data (IP address, device and browser information, log and error data, feature usage) — for security, fraud prevention, debugging and product improvement. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Voice audio, when a visitor uses voice mode — processed to transcribe speech and generate a spoken reply. Legal basis: contract.

We do not ask for or store card numbers. Payment data is collected and processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record under its own privacy notice.

Who we share data with

• Hosting and database providers that run the application and store your data.
• AI model providers that generate responses, transcribe speech and produce embeddings from the content you submit.
• Email delivery providers for account, booking and notification emails.
• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of subscriptions, payments, subscription management, invoicing and tax compliance.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) and authorities where required by law.

Some of these providers operate outside your country. Where data leaves the UK/EEA we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

Public profiles

If you mark your profile public, the information you put on it — including your name, title, location, bio, services and any contact details you add — is visible to anyone with the link and may appear in our directory and in search engines. Only publish what you are comfortable sharing. You can switch your profile back to private at any time in Settings.

Retention

We keep account, profile and conversation data for as long as your account is active. After you delete your account we remove or anonymise personal data within 90 days, except where we must keep records longer for legal, tax or fraud-prevention reasons.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to withdraw consent. Email ricsic.business@gmail.com and we will respond within one month. If you are in the UK/EEA you may also complain to your local supervisory authority.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit, row-level access controls on our database, scoped access tokens and least-privilege server access. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to notify you where required if something goes wrong.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences such as theme. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, though signing in will not work without the essential ones.
